NIA raids, questions Dr. Shaheen’s family, probe underway to bust Shaheen-led terror network in UP

Lucknow (UP), Nov 12 2025 (ANI): On November 10, a car blast near Red Fort shook NCT of Delhi, leaving 8 people dead & several injured. Central and state investigative agencies are probing the explosion case from all aspects including the terror angle. Based on special intelligence, massive search and hunt operation is being carried out across Delhi, UP, Haryana to bust terror networks and nab suspects in Delhi blast case. In the series of busting terror modules, pre and post Delhi blast, one Dr. Shaheen and Dr. Parvez, a sibling duo have been detained from Lucknow. However, the family of Shaheen and Pervez, who are reportedly under investigation in connection with the Delhi blast case, has come forward asserting their innocence. Meanwhile, the threads of Delhi blast are linked to objectionable posters in the Nowgam area of Srinagar for which an FIR was registered on October 19. Security forces are up in action to bust inter-state Jaish-e-Mohammed module linked to the terror plot. Duirng the investigation, a medical practitioner Dr Adil has also been apprehended from Saharanpur in Uttar Pradesh. Subsequently, Dr Muzammil, a doctor from Al Falah Medical College in Faridabad has also been arrested for stocking nearly 3,000 kilograms of explosives. Day after Delhi blast, Union Home Minister Amit Shah on November 11, chaired a high-level meeting with top security officials. In a post shared on ‘X’ HM Shah informed that he has instructed security officials to “hunt down each and every culprit” behind the blast.
