Hanoi [Vietnam], June 16: In 'Studio 3', Lam Vy Da had the opportunity to open up about her career journey and share about her fulfilling life with her husband and two sons.
Recently, Lam Vy Da has been praised for her radiant appearance after losing weight. Sharing on the program, the actress revealed that she lost about 14kg in two months. The motivation behind this transformation stemmed from her anxiety about her health as she approached her 40s. She confessed: "I felt that uncontrolled weight gain, along with many other issues, was a problem. Furthermore, I felt that my image in front of the audience wasn't appealing."
According to Lam Vy Da, one of the motivations for her weight loss was Truong Giang's advice. At one point while filming together, Nha Phuong's husband asked her: "Do you still want to work in this profession? Why are you letting your weight keep increasing like this? It's affecting you a lot."
Lam Vy Da unexpectedly revealed that she once wanted to quit acting. This was when she gave birth, thinking she would retire to take care of her family and no longer have the opportunity to pursue an artistic career. During this period, Truong Giang encouraged Lam Vy Da to return to acting, and they performed comedy together to earn extra income. "Truong Giang took me along to every show he did. Every time he gave me a chance, I performed my best so that the audience would remember me," the actress recounted.
According to Lam Vy Da, she gained more recognition when game shows became popular. However, after the pandemic, the number of shows decreased, and Lam Vy Da inevitably faced pressure. Afterward, the actress gradually returned to the stage and also participated in film projects. Looking back on her career journey, Lam Vy Da emotionally mentioned her parents. She recounted that the moment she gave birth to her son, Banh Mi, was also the moment she witnessed her father shedding tears. "My father always felt that my siblings and I were disadvantaged because we didn't have a mother by our side. Even now, he still loves me unconditionally. Because he loves me so much, I don't dare share any problems with him for fear of worrying him," she confided. This is what makes Lam Vy Da even stronger, enabling her to become a pillar of support for those she loves.
Currently, Lam Vy Da enjoys a fulfilling life with her husband and two sons. The actress shared that sometimes, out of love for her children, she almost does everything herself, not giving her family a chance to do anything. However, as her sons grow older, the actress inevitably faces pressure. "I always try to maintain order in the family, playing the 'bad cop' role so that my children become better every day," she revealed.
While she used to think having children in her twenties was a bit early, she is now happy with it. "I feel lucky that I was healthy enough to take care of my children back then. If I had children now, I'm afraid I wouldn't be healthy enough. I have no regrets about that youthful period," the mother of two confided.
