Washington DC [US], April 17: The Lebanese army on Thursday urged residents to wait until a ceasefire agreed between the governments of Israel and Lebanon comes into effect before returning to villages in southern Lebanon.
In a statement, the army command also warned against approaching areas where Israeli forces have advanced. The army stressed the need to follow instructions issued by deployed military units for people's safety, and urged caution over unexploded ordnance and suspicious objects left behind from Israeli attacks, calling on residents to report them to the nearest military post.
