MoCI launches 36 new digital services

Doha [Qatar], February 24: The Ministry of Commerce and Industry has introduced 36 new digital services through its online platform, aimed at simplifying procedures and enhancing the quality of services delivered to beneficiaries. The initiative forms part of the Ministry's ongoing digital transformation efforts to improve operational efficiency and modernize government service delivery.
According to the Ministry, the newly introduced services cover raffle and prize draw licensing, including applications, amendments, cancellations, and the submission of draw details. They also include annual sales plan services, seasonal sales licensing, loyalty program licensing, and "Scan and Win" campaign licensing, each enabling users to submit applications and manage amendments or cancellations electronically.
Additional services encompass licensing for special offers and promotional campaigns, permits for festivals and initiatives, final clearance sale licensing, and brokerage activity licensing, including the issuance, renewal, amendment, and cancellation of related licenses and identification cards.
These enhancements allow beneficiaries to complete transactions seamlessly through the Ministry's digital platform. This development reflects the Ministry's commitment to accelerating digital transformation in line with its strategic objectives, enhancing service excellence, improving customer experience, and advancing digital systems to ensure greater efficiency and flexibility in government services.
