According to reports, on July 24th, a short video clip went viral on social media, capturing a moment of inappropriate behavior by a young woman. The person who posted the video stated: "It's said that in the middle of the night, Miss Vietnam runner-up Bui Thi My Duyen, for reasons unknown, went to vandalize someone's house in an alley on Nguyen Trai Street and was filmed by residents."
The clip subsequently went viral, sparking mixed reactions from netizens. Some users expressed dissatisfaction with the girl's actions, especially since she had previously achieved high rankings in a beauty pageant. Additionally, many viewers awaited a statement from the beauty queen herself following the controversy.
One user wrote: "There should be a law requiring 12 years of good conduct before being allowed to compete in beauty pageants." Response from Miss Vietnam runner-up My Duyen
Sharing with us, My Duyen said that this was a personal incident that happened while she and a friend were joking around. At the time, the beauty queen had consumed alcohol, leading to inappropriate behavior. "Afterward, I realized my mistake, proactively apologized to my friend, and she understood and forgave me," she said. In addition, My Duyen hopes the matter will be closed so that she can return to her personal life.
