RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat’s US visit draws a strong message of unity, harmony and community integration from organisers and members of the Indian diaspora. VHP America President Tejal Shah says the event promotes plurality, unity in diversity and encourages people to put differences aside and work together for humanity. Tamil diaspora member Kathirvel Kumararaja rejects concerns that the event could create division, stressing the values and contributions of the Indian community. Universal Oneness Celebrations spokesperson Priya S says the interfaith gathering aims to bring people from different walks of life together and convey that despite differences, communities can come together and walk forward as one.
